Community Outreach

One of the most important aspects of being a member of the Panther Robotics club is working to expose other students and community members to the power of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers.

Our members work hard to raise this awareness in our community by demonstrating our robot to local officials, hosting scrimmages that are open to the community, visiting with elementary school students in our area, and helping with summer camps for robotics.

A Video Showing the Impact of FIRST Programs

This link will take you to a Youtube video hosted my Morgan Freeman about the important impacts that FIRST programs such as the FIRST Tech Challenge can have on this next generation of scientists and engineers. Take a moment to watch it. It's quite inspiring. You can view the video here.
